Biosketch

Dr. Choi is currently a faculty member of the Wescoe Academic Society as well as the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He has served on a number of faculty search committees for KUMC. His areas of teaching interest include chronic disease epidemiology, behavioral epidemiology, and epidemiologic methods. Some past areas of research include behavioral epidemiology of tobacco use among adolescents. Current projects deal with the predictors of adolescent initiation and cessation of smoking, including the role of tobacco advertising and promotions.
